Holywood software company Cranmore has joined a select number of UK suppliers who have achieved Microsoft Solutions Partner status for Digital & App Innovation.

The accreditation, awarded in early June 2025, is earned through completing qualifying projects for customers and a series of rigorous exams.

Becoming a Digital and App partner is an official endorsement by Microsoft of a company’s capability.

For Cranmore, it’s an endorsement of its expertise in AI and machine learning, Microsoft Azure integrations, and low code application development, among a range of other capabilities.

It follows Cranmore’s successful delivery of innovative, large-scale digital and app solutions for a range of public sector, transport, and local government partners.

According to Microsoft, the accreditation demonstrates Cranmore is “a partner who has a commitment to training and accreditation and has delivered solutions that lead to customer success”.

We’re hugely proud of our team who each showed the dedication and expertise required to achieve this new partnership status.

Reacting to the significant recognition, Operations Director Heather McCook said: “This award is the result of Cranmore’s commitment to consistent learning and excellence.

“We’re hugely proud of our team who each showed the dedication and expertise required to achieve this new partnership status.”

Managing Director Chris Price added that, while Cranmore has been well known for its Microsoft expertise for some time, becoming an official solutions partner represented official recognition of the team’s skill and experience.

“Cranmore’s successful Microsoft delivery across the public sector, local government, transport, and utilities has been widely established but this official recognition of our capabilities is very welcome.

“We’ll wear the badge with pride, and I’d like to thank the dedicated efforts of the team who pushed hard to secure this official status.”

The status also further underlines Cranmore’s contribution to upskilling teams within its public services and local government clients, helping them develop their own Microsoft and software expertise and become more self sufficient.

Cranmore, established in County Down in 2008, employs over 30 expert staff specialising in enterprise-scale projects.

The below table outlines the capabilities officially recognised by the Microsoft Solutions Partner accreditation:
